I am proud to say that Alberta has been my home for as long as I can remember. I come from a farming family and have always had a love for the outdoors and for all of the nifty critters existing out there. Bugs to bears, all magnitudes of life intrigue me! My Master’s work focuses on studying boreal amphibians in the Lower Athabasca of this beautiful province. Even though amphibians are super cool, my deepest passion lies with another type of animal, Equus spp. (the horse). I love horses! I mean, I have a decent amount of horse-type knick-knacks, but more importantly, I have a big horse of my own. Therefore, in my limited free time I enjoy horseback riding, hiking, swimming, fishing, and other explorations of the natural world I study.
