I am broadly interested in large mammal population dynamics and adaptations to human presence on the landscape. My research is focused on studying the impacts of human footprint on large mammal biodiversity in northern Alberta. By combining autonomous recording units (ARUs) with remote cameras across areas of varying human impact, I hope to examine movement, changes in patterns of habitat use (both temporally and spatially), and the impact of altered landscape and soundscape on large mammal species in the boreal.
