In the fall of 2014 I started my MSc project on the use of autonomous recording units to monitor songbird use of reclaimed well sites in Northern Alberta, supervised by Erin Bayne. Additionally, my project is supported by the Land Reclamation International Grad School (LRIGS). Prior to starting graduate studies, I had the opportunity to work as a technician in the Bayne Lab which sparked my interest in bioacoustics. I also spent the summer working as a technician for the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute doing soil sampling and vegetation surveys.
